My artistic practice moves along the edge where visibility becomes vulnerability. Working in the fields of performance, video, and installation, I explore the psychic structures that hold the self together — and the moments when those structures collapse.
I think of art as a gesture, an act that does not necessarily speak, but does. This gesture is not about self-expression, but about creating tension — a situation, a scene, where someone is watching, someone is seen, and no one controls the direction of the gaze. As an artist, I seek ways to hold this tension — between the desire-to-be-seen and the fear-of-being-visible.
